Genomatix Evaluation Accounts

Genomatix evaluation accounts are free accounts on the Genomatix server which can be used to test ElDorado / Gene2Promoter, GEMS Launcher, RegionMiner, BiblioSphere, and ChipInspector. You only have to register on our server and you will receive your account details immediately via email.

Evaluation accounts are unlimited in functionality and in the number of analyses per tool.

Please go to the activation page to activate your account for unlimited testing.

The evaluation period is seven days. After this time, you can keep the account active for another seven days by filling out a questionnaire. This feedback is very important to us in our effort to improve the usability and usefulness of our software. You will be reminded of this via email after the first trial week.

At the end of the evaluation period, you will be given the opportunity to request a quote for a software bundle tailored to your specific research needs. The account will continue to be active on our server and the LitInspector program will continue to provide unlimited free access.

If you have an academic affiliation, then the MatInspector program will also continue to accept queries under your account. Some limitations apply in this case:

The program will accept up to 10 queries per calendar month. The number of analyses left for your account can be viewed on the personal page of your account ("Personal" link at the top of each GenomatixPortal page).
Some input, export, and viewing features are disabled for evaluation accounts. Each non-available feature is marked in the program user interface by . These features are:
- searching promoters by entering gene names
- searching promoters by genomic mapping of input sequences
- restriction of the search to individual matrices / matrix families
- display of match statistics
- extract sequence of matches
- export of matches to GenBank or Excel
- viewing weight matrices or family alignments in MatBase
