Genomatix signs contract with German GSF-National
Research Center for Environment and Health
Genomatix further expands
and strengthens its presence in the academic marketplace.
Genomatix signed an institute wide license for its
systems biology software and databases with the GSF-German
National Research Center for Environment and Health.
More than 1600 employees of the GSF have now access
to GenomatixSuite. In addition a contract was signed
covering two years of Genomatix consulting and contract
research for GSF.

Genomatix further expands business with NIH
More than 150 researchers
from NIH are regularly using free of charge limited
Genomatix on-line services of integrated in silico
systems biology tools. Now researchers from NCI, NIAMS,
and NHLBI have signed up for unlimited access. According
to a Genomatix spokesman, several more institute orders
are pending.
Genomatix is an in silico
biology company that applies its software suites to
provide unique solutions combining the power of a bottom
up systems biology approach with application specific
top down systems analysis. An integration of patent
pending scientific literature mining, proprietary databases,
comparative genomics, DNA promoter analysis and expression
array data mining, according to Genomatix, allows for
analysis and prediction of the interaction of genes,
proteins and cells with unprecedented precision.
